The order matters

Same tools. Different order.

Maria builds first

A booking app for hairdressers.

  1. Falls in love with the solution
  2. Spends five months building it
  3. Launches to compliments, not bookings

Nobody adopts it.

Priya asks first

A tutoring booking page.

  1. Interviews parents about the last time it happened
  2. Tests a £10 refundable deposit
  3. Builds only what they showed they would pay for

Her first sessions are booked.

Maria and Priya are composite characters. Their figures are illustrative.

This book is for you if

  • You have an idea and no technical background
  • You are working alone, or close to it
  • You want evidence before you spend months building
  • You are launching in the UK or EU and want the basics in plain English

It is not

  • A promise that AI will build a finished business in a week
  • A replacement for a lawyer, accountant or security reviewer
  • A guide to a single tool. Tools change; the method does not

Questions

Before you buy

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The book assumes you have never written code. You describe what you want in plain English, and learn how to check what comes back.

Which AI tools does it use?

It covers app builders, coding assistants and design tools, and shows how to choose by job rather than brand. Prices and features change, so the tool comparison is dated and points you to each company's own pricing page.

Is this only for UK founders?

The method works anywhere. One chapter covers UK and EU specifics: GDPR, the ICO data protection fee, forming a limited company and VAT. It is general information, not legal advice.

Can AI really build my product?

It can build a working first version quickly. It can also hide serious faults, especially around payments, logins and who can see what. The book shows which parts to rent from specialists and which to have a professional review.

What is in the free download?

A Validation Scorecard to set pass marks for the three proofs before you build, and a Launch Day Checklist for the day you go live. Both come straight from the book.

Was AI used to write the book?

Yes, AI assistance was used in drafting, and the book says so. It also teaches you to review AI output before you rely on it.
